STATICO.

My workshop · Created with Codex

I needed it.
I invented it.

Small everyday problems, ideas taking shape. Here are the tools and experiences I've created with Codex that you can use online, too.

Invention 001 · Web edition

Statico
Converter 2.0

Convert audio and video up to 30 minutes long, extract a track, record your voice or transcribe speech. All in your browser, with files staying on your device.

Invention 002 · Italian / English

Statico
Stop Motion

A small 3D set for building stories, one frame at a time. Pose your subjects, explore camera angles, export videos and storyboards. All on your device.

Invention 003 · Interactive experience

A world
beneath the silence.

Descend into a deep-sea ecosystem of light. Shoals of fish, jellyfish and hydrothermal vents come to life through code. Explore, change the currents, leave a wave. Works offline too. Interface in Italian.

Dive into Abisso

Invention 004 · Interactive atlas

The invisible
work of life.

A journey inside a cell: selective membranes, molecular transport motors, mitochondria transforming energy. A 3D laboratory making life's mechanisms visible, with explanations in Italian. Works offline too.

Explore Cellula viva

Invention 005 · A school laboratory

What holds
a city together?

From the first cities to today's metropolises: explore eight urban models in 3D and change density, water, trade, weather and networks. Compare scenarios, explore underground and test a hypothesis. Historical sources, teaching indicators and classroom worksheets. Works offline too. Interface in Italian.

Explore Città nel tempo

Invention 006 · 3D exploration

Statico
Gigacity.

Generate a 3D metropolis of skyscrapers, lights and flying cars. Explore with four cameras, take control of a vehicle and move from day to sunset to night. Each seed recreates the same city. Interface in Italian.

Invention 007 · Explorable virtual worlds

Il ruscello.

A forest, a pond, a small cabin. A world to walk through, where water flows, wind moves the leaves and light changes. An example of how an idea can become a place to experience. Interface in Italian.

The same approach can create all kinds of virtual worlds and bring your dreams to life: imaginary landscapes, historical reconstructions, scientific scenarios and educational environments to explore in first person.

Fully interactive game environments can also be designed, customising places, objects, atmospheres, characters, rules and interactions. This stream is just a starting point.

Invention 008 · Explorable 3D environment

A grove
of bamboo.

A wooden boardwalk, rain and a forest wrapped in mist. Walk among bamboo, ferns and rocks, get close to droplets on leaves and watch the ripples on the water.

An environment made in Unreal Engine with Codex and adapted for the browser. Explore freely, follow a walk along the boardwalk or watch the original 40-second film. Interface in Italian.

It all starts with a question: couldn't I make this myself?
